Year 5/6 Camp - Writing

We are going to be writing about our camp experiences on camp.

Introduction Hook the reader in, and let them know what your writing is going to be about.

We had the time of our lives at camp and we were doing un describable things. Like kayaking and loads of other fabulous  stuff .

Paragraph 1 What is camp. When, Where, Why. All the information. What activities did you do?

What is camp? Camp is AN opportunity to do lots of things like kayaking and Playing lots of activities Like killer zone.The groups have a dance off and a chant off. On the last day of camp we go to Mangeri pools and we were doing bombs.

Paragraph 2 Highlights. What were your favourite parts, and why?

The best thing I liked was Mangeri pools. Why? Because we went to the bombing pool and The volcano geyser . All the pools are cold. We weren't allowed passed the log or on the big slide.

Paragraph 3 Thank you’s. Who made this happen for you? I.e. Family, School, Teacher, and Leaders etc

Thank you Mr Bert for inventing this camp for us.Also thank all the teachers that participated with this fun activity. Also the cooks thank you.

Conclusion What did you learn about yourself on camp, why would you recommend that every student does this in future.

Camp was really fun I wish I could go there again.
